Extensive experience with oceanographic vessels.

In recent years, CT has taken part in developing the engineering for several oceanographic vessels, including the AlMostakshif, constructed by the Freire Shipyard in the Vigo Ria for the State of Kuwait.

In this project, CT was involved in developing part of the basic engineering and almost all the detailed engineering for the structures and the mechanical systems.

The AlMostakshif is one of the most advanced vessels for its size and performance. She is a 56 metres long and 12 metres beam vessel, able to accomodate 28 persons, 13 of them being scientists. It will be carrying out different types of scientific missions in the Persian Gulf, not only involving fishing and oceanographic research, but also geological and hydrographic research.

This project, together with the oceanographic Skagerak projects for the University of Gothenburg and the OceanXplorer, have enabled CT to consolidate its experience in developing the engineering for a type of vessels featuring an ever-increasing demand on the market.
