CT reduces costs and time in the paint industry thanks to digital twins
2 de April de 2025

CT Engineering has made a significant breakthrough in implementing digital twins in the paint manufacturing industry, as part of the European project Change2Twin.

This project, funded by the European Union, falls under the I4MS program and involves a consortium of 18 European partners. Its main goal is to facilitate access to digital twin technologies for European manufacturing companies.

Digital twins enable the creation of a virtual replica of a real product, process, or service, allowing simulation of its behavior in real-time. Through the collection and analysis of data, digital twins provide companies with the ability to anticipate potential failures, optimize processes, and make informed decisions based on precise and up-to-date information. This technology enhances efficiency and reduces costs by allowing adjustments and improvements to be made before issues arise in the real world.

In this context, CT has driven the integration of digital twins into the paint manufacturing industry. To achieve this, it has developed a connected architecture that employs IoT sensors to monitor every stage of the production process. From paint manufacturing to packaging in cans for the end customer, this solution enables the digitalization of work orders and generates digital models that optimize and accurately represent the flow of processes.

With this project, CT Ingenieros reaffirms its commitment to innovation and digital transformation in the industry. Its focus on developing technological solutions allows companies to optimize their processes, improve efficiency, and adapt to an increasingly demanding environment. With a future-oriented vision, CT Ingenieros will continue driving new technologies that facilitate work in the manufacturing sector and contribute to more efficient production.
