CT presents its development for meetings with mixed reality at FEINDEF, integrating a variety of technologies and AR for Maintenance 4.0

The CT solution for virtual meetings consists of software that allows real-time interoperability of multiple technologies and data sources through agile integration. Once again, CT participated as a top level partner for engineering and innovation of General Dynamics European Land Systems – Santa Barbara Systems (GDELS-SBS), presenting joint developments, based on augmented and virtual reality, focused on Maintenance 4.0 and training tasks.

CT, a leading engineering company in technological innovation throughout the entire product life cycle, once again participated in FEINDEF, held last week at IFEMA, Madrid, to present its capabilities in terms of interoperating in real time with different technologies, data sources and communication protocols. Visitors to the stand were able to test the development in a simulation environment, from the shooter post of an armoured vehicle, interacting with a mixed reality scenario, and experience that was very well received.

ā€œThe existing model of cooperation between companies requires a common environment in which multiple models developed with different tools and languages (either systems models, processes, digital twins or machine learning models) can be executed and integrated. With this solution, CT is able to accelerate design and development processes, and also apply data processing techniques and simulations that align with the MBSE methodologyā€, says JosĆ© Alfredo GonzĆ”lez, Business Development Manager.

CT also participated yet again along with its client GDELS-SBS, with a joint development that focuses on virtual and augmented reality for complex maintenance tasks (Maintenance 4.0) and advanced training. Presented by GDELS-SBS as one of the new technologies that will transform armoured vehicles, the application makes it possible to explore both the interior (including different systems such as the hydraulic and fuel systems) and the exterior of the vehicle in great detail, analyse the accessories with which it is equipped and its uses, and also provide 3D models and a digital model of the platform.

CT, as the only Spanish engineering company with a presence in all of the branches of defence (land, sea and air), and in the main programs of each one (VCR 8×8, S80+, F110, FCAS, among many others), successfully closed its participation in this second edition, affirming its commitment to the digital transformation of defence.
