Iberdrola will tap CT’s expertise on the design of its future green hydrogen plant in Puertollano
CT, a leading engineering company in technological innovation throughout the product life cycle, has been selected by Iberdrola to carry out Support Engineering for the design of the largest green hydrogen complex for industrial use in Europe, which the multinational has started up at its Puertollano plant (Ciudad Real).
RETPAIR project drives the research of a brand new thermoplastic repair process solution, integrated directly on the manufacturing line.
CT joins the RETPAIR project starting January this year with the aim of developing new high-performance, flexible and cost-effective, automated and robotized net-shape technologies to rework and repair TPC parts to be integrated in the manufacturing line. RETPAIR is one of the two projects, along with Welder, that CT has submitted to the Clean Sky 2020 bid to move forward in the aerospace industry thermoplastic adoption strategy, and greatly improve the environmental and economic performance of the aerospace sector, according to CS2 objectives.

CT develops FlightSafe, an automated UV-C light disinfection system for the interior of commercial aircraft
The system developed by a team of CT engineers consists of an automated guided vehicle (AGV) capable of moving through the aircraft cabin to disinfect all its elements, using short distance UV light type C radiation. The main advantages of FlightSafe include its autonomy – which avoids any person having to be exposed during the disinfection process, how quickly it can disinfect the cabin and the possibility of using it in other means of transport, such as a train. CT has just applied for the FlightSafe patent and hopes to materialize the project as soon as possible to contribute efficiently to the reactivation of safe travel for people
CT renovates its office in Ferrol, one of its key centers for engineering services
CT has renovated its office in Ferrol to facilitate a safe return for employees who opt to work in the office, as well as to reflect the corporate identity that the brand launched in 2018.
The office, which is located in the industrial area of La Gándara and covers an area of 1200 m2, has a new distribution, greater capacity and several rooms specially fitted out that the company will make available for internal and external training.

After acquiring the Multi-physics Modelling and Scientific Computing business line of Bertin Technologies, a subsidiary of CNIM Group, CT sets up its new headquarters in Guyancourt, Paris. The engineering experts’ team has already settled in the new location, where they will continue to provide complex scientific modelling and consulting services to clients from aeronautics, space, defence and nuclear energy sectors.
