CT appoints David Prieto as new CEO.

The Board of CT (CT Engineering & CT Solutions) today announced the appointment of David Prieto as its new Chief Executive Officer. Jesus Prieto will remain as non-executive President and Chairman of the Board.

Since joining CT in 2017, David has been Head of M&A and Corporate Development, Business Unit Manager of CT Solutions’ 70-person PLM and software integration team, and Head of Innovation at CT Engineering. He successfully divested CT´s ASIDEK subsidiary and led the consolidation of the Projects and Services BUs of CT Solutions.

Prior to joining CT, David was the assistant to the President & CEO of World Fuel Services, a Fortune 100 energy company in Miami, later joining WFS’ M&A Integration team and leading the integration of various acquisitions. Fresh from University, he spent a year in Buenos Aires as research and strategy consultant, working remotely for clients in the USA. David holds a BS in International Relations from Tufts University in Boston, an MBA from Fuqua School of Business Duke University in North Carolina, and an Executive Masters in Corporate Law from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues in Madrid.

Jesus Prieto started Cad Tech 35 years ago with a business plan, a PC, a phone, a little round table, and lots of enthusiasm. Today, CT has 2,000 employees in nine countries and continues to grow each day.
